Hodgson was an owned hunting dog who broke his leg. The owner asked the vet to operate and fix the leg, but it was not a success. Then the owner wanted to put him down to sleep, as he was of no use anymore. The vet asked the Gouves Shelter to take him and save him, and he has been there ever since.
Due to the pain in his leg, he had it amputated. He is now a happy boy who gets along great with other dogs! He has not been tested with cats or children but he is very friendly with people.
He is also leisthmania positive and requires a pill a day. Due to his positive test and amputation he has been overlooked at the shelter, but he is a very happy boy who deserves to go to his forever home.
