Yoko is a little beauty around 3 months old. She was abandoned in a colony of neutered cats, outside the center of Athens. At the begging the little sweetheart was very scared and was just hiding in the bushes and crying. She was afraid of humans but also of the adult cats of the colony, they were really aggressive towards her. We were worried she wouldn’t survive and made a lot of attempts to catch her but she kept on running away and hide. After 3 difficult weeks she began to get used to the presence of the volunteer who was feeding the cats every day, she stoped running and started climbing on a tree to watch. That was a first step…As soon as the volunteer managed to finally gain her trust and gave her the first caress, she began purring and surrendering to the tenderness she was receiving. She felt safe for the first time. Now she is looking forward for her new friend to come feed the colony, jumps into her arms and just asks for hugs and love.
She is looking for her forever home where she will get the love and protection she so desperately needs. She is playful and very affectionate.
