Fotis is a gorgeous boy that was found in Greece after he ‘annoyed’ the neighbors in the area with his affection and asking for love. He was brought inside and made his way all the way to Belgium! He had trouble settling into his new foster homes but with patience and love he has opened up to his normal happy self! He even gets along with new people almost immediately now. His favorite thing to do is to look out the window so he would love a family that gives him a cat tree fit for a King next to a window! He also loves to get belly rubs and chirp like a bird. Fotis is such a special boy that deserves the best! He is an indoor cat only and would like someone that will give him cuddles and love but also understand that he likes his space. He is also very attached to his girlfriend Pati!
Pati comes from Thessaloniki in Greece and met Fotis in their current foster home in Belgium. She’s a special girl who has been through so much in her life. She was found with a broken pelvis, probably after being hit by a car. The pelvis healed on its own but resulted in intestinal problems. Sadly she isn’t able to go to the bathroom on her own so needs daily laxatives to help keep things moving. Stress can cause problems with this, and if she goes to long without pooping then she will need a vet visit and an enema to clean her out completely. She has gone through alot to be in a stable enough position, and has started to receive acupuncture and physiotherapist to help which has made a HUGE difference! Since her treatments she has started playing like a kitten and you can really see she is a lot more comfortable.
The most important thing for Pati is stability and understanding. She isn’t a lap cat but has the cutest meow and loves to sit up high and get pets. Due to her problems, she tries to use the litter box but sometimes her intestines start working afterwards so she can rarely pee or poop where she lays. She doesn’t mean it, and really it means that everything is working! If she keeps up her treatments though then it doesn’t happen often.
Pati and Fotis really bonded in their foster home, Pati is a small queen that Fotis likes to protect from the other cats. (Even though she doesn’t need it). We would love for them to stay together as indoor cats only.
