Delon is a handsome boy that was rescued in Montenegro after a serious fungal infection. This handsome boy was one of the lucky ones to make it to a foster home where he was treated and waited for his forever home. Luckily, he was able to find it! From Montenegro to Belgium and now in the Netherlands, he is living his best life with his new family. Read what they have to say about him:
"Delon came to us from Montenegro after he was found living on the streets with a serious infection. We are incredibly grateful for all the effort and donations that made sure he had a chance to get well and made him able to be brought to us, as he turned out to be the sweetest boy with so much love to give.
Ever since Delon's been with us he's been the main event at home. Even though he is a very calm dog most of the time, he enjoys as much attention as he can get, wether it be while playing, training, cuddling or quietly enjoying our presence while we work. He also loves to go on long walks or hikes with us, as well as running along when we go for a cycling trip. Delon really likes other dogs and adores all humans (from whom he will nearly always demand belly rubs), and makes loads of new friends wherever we go.
When he first moved in with us he was easy going but also quite weary of his new surroundings, and needed his time to feel completely at home. However he adapted wonderfully which made us feel comfortable taking him on a holiday not long after the adoption.
The most beautiful things about adopting a dog have been getting to know him better and better each day, underatanding and bonding with our new family member as well as seeing him gain confidence and flourish in his new environment."
